Somewhat recent digital painting done from scratch in photoshop. The subject being a "flash taken camera picture" was a deliberate selection because in the old days of airbrush, I always had the most difficult time with painting portraits off of flash taken pics. And in the digital world, it is even harder to make a human face look real.... They tend to look like plastic. But I think I've got it figured out now... So it's time to backtrack and do one of these with traditional mediums, now.
Still in awe from all of the other work, but another great one!
If you're looking for critque, though it really doesn't matter, then I would just like to note that some of the hair looks digital and not actually connected to the rest of the hair. Iuno, just looks as if the hair is alot more detailed than the rest of the pic..

Absolutely stunning painting.. I want to thank you for your youtube videos because thanks to them i got exited about drawing again. You should definetly do some tutorials if you have time.
I have to admit although all your work's amazingly well refined, there's quiet often something slightly wrong. Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh and I know I'm nowhere anywhere near as good but sometimes when your focused on the details its really easy to miss things.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
